How it works

Open data โ†’ normalized โ†’ scored โ†’ delivered

  1. 1

    Pull

We read the city's own permit feed (Austin + Chicago) on a nightly schedule.

  2. 2

    Normalize

Different cities, different schemas. We map them to one clean set of columns: metro, permit id, type, scope, address, issued date, source link.

  3. 3

    Score

We flag the permits that mean roofing or solar work, so you're not scrolling through every interior remodel.

  4. 4

    Deliver

New matches land in your inbox as an email alert, and the full list syncs as a CSV you can load into your CRM.

FAQ

Questions

Where does the data come from?

Directly from city open data โ€” Austin, TX permit search and Chicago, IL building-permit records. We normalize the two schemas into one clean format and refresh nightly.

Is this the same as the city's own website?

The records are public and free at the source. What you pay for is the work on top: matching the roofing/solar permits, normalizing two different city schemas, keeping it fresh, and delivering it where you already work (CSV + email).

How fresh are the leads?

Nightly. The newest permit in the feed at build time was issued 2026-10-02.

Do I need a contract or a call?

No. It's self-serve: subscribe on Stripe, cancel anytime. No demos, no sales calls.

What if my city isn't covered yet?

Right now it's Austin and Chicago. More metros are coming โ€” see the roadmap note below. Tell us your city via the sample form and we'll prioritize demand.

Can I see samples before paying?

Yes โ€” the free 50-lead sample is the whole point. It's the same rows and the same columns as the paid feed.

Roadmap (phase 2), in plain terms: more metro coverage, and a field-data layer for contractors โ€” things like job-site photos and outcome tags. This is the launch version, so today it's two metros, roofing & solar, CSV + email. We'd rather be upfront about that than overpromise.
